This nine-season-long series is coming to an end after a network change and 194 episodes. With only two shows left to air, titled “Baxter Boot Camp” and “Keep On Truckin”. Throughout the last couple of episodes, audiences will see the Baxter family look back and reflect on their lives on a family campout in their backyard. The whole series will end with Tim Allen’s character Mike Baxter hunting down each of his friends as he tries to uncover the truth behind his stolen green 1959 Ford F-100 that he’s been working to restore for years. As each character reminisces and says goodbye to the truck it’s apparent that they are each saying goodbye to this almost 20-year long journey they’ve been on together.
Here is what Tim Allen said as he reflected on his time at ‘Last Man Standing’, “I adored this show, this cast, this crew” he said. “I never had a bad day on the set, and it isn’t old hat… Of course, all of the actors are still alive and well and we can see each other whenever we want, but I have not fully recovered from how much I adored that world that we created.” To end out their time on the show, producers Kevin Abbott and Matt Berry shared some of their favorite episodes including: “Bride of Pranksenstein” (Season 7, Episode 4), “Three Sisters” (Season 6, Episode 12), “Helen Potts” (Season 4, Episode 12), “Trick or Treat” (Season 6, Episode 5).
