As more and more information is coming out about the second season of the hit Netflix original, it has fans looking on the show’s horizon. Netflix just announced that they would be renewing the series for seasons 3 and 4 even before the premiere of the 2nd season. The first season, which was released on Christmas Day 2020, got near 63 million views. The seasons will follow in the order of the book series that the project is based on. This upcoming second season will center around the love life and journey of Anthony Bridgerton. The only bummer as we deep dive into ‘Bridgerton’’s future is that it won’t include season one swoon-worthy star Rege-Jean.
Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s VP of global TV said that“‘Bridgerton’ swept us off our feet,” and that “the creative team, led by Shonda, knew the material and delivered a beautiful, emotional, romantic drama for our members. They have some exciting plans for the future, and we think audiences will continue to swoon for this show. We’re planning to be in the ‘Bridgerton’ business for a long time to come.”
