Huffman and Zack Gottsagen will be leading the new project at ABC, which has just landed a pilot production commitment.

The untitled single-camera comedy will be following Huffman, the owner of a minor league baseball team, as she deals with the sudden loss of her husband and creates a new normal for her family. Becky Hartman Edwards will write and executive produce the project, with Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor of Kapital Entertainment executive producing with Joel Zadak and Susan Savage.
