The Lifetime Achievement Award Will Be Granted to Billy Crystal at Critics Choice Awards

Known for a multifaceted career in acting, theatre, directing, and awards hosting, Billy Crystal will be the sixth coveted recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Critics Choice Awards. Crystal is the winner of 7 major awards, including one Tony Award for his work on 700 Sundays, and numerous Emmy Awards. Additionally, he has 27 major nominations, including 2 Grammy Award nominations. He has also won the 2007 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

Crystal is most well regarded for his frequent participation in Saturday Night Live, and long standing role in Soap. He is no stranger to awards shows, being a 9 time Oscar host. The 27th Critics Choice Awards will be hosted by Nicole Byer and Taye Diggs and broadcast on March 13th.
