The classic ‘Ted’ movies are making a comeback in series form and here is what you need to know about it. Seth MacFarlane is not yet confirmed but is negotiating to be voice ‘Ted’ again in the live-action adaption. For those not familiar with ‘Ted’ he is a teddy bear who is alive thanks to the dreams of a small kid, the twist? He is also a cursing and drug using menace to society.
In 2012 The first “Ted” movie came out and reeled in nearly $550 million at the box office on a $65 million budget. A sequel was inevitable and dropped in 2015 earning about $215 million. MacFarlane voiced ‘Ted’ in both movies and had huge celebrity appearances such as Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Barth, Giovanni Ribisi, Mila Kunis, and Amanda Seyfried. There is no word yet on when production will start or the timeline for its release but we do know that Peacock ordered and will air the series.
