“Bridgerton”- The Soundtrack

With high society, ball gowns, and a classic enemies to lovers trope, Bridgerton is perfection by definition. From the beautiful cast to iconic music choices, this show is the epitome of a melodramatic regency era piece that every girl who has ever seen Pride and Prejudice, Gossip Girl, or To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before will most definitely adore. Musically, the show consisted of an original score composed by Kris Bowers, who did a phenomenal job at capturing the regal essence of the show as a whole. Period pieces usually do not have a soundtrack with music that is already released in order to keep the timeline intact, but Bridgerton decided to go in their own direction. Audiences were very shocked and pleasantly surprised when string quartet renditions of hit pop songs decided to make an appearance throughout the show. From Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, to Taylor Swift, this short and sweet soundtrack is something you definitely want to take a listen to.
