FX has ordered six episodes of Pistol, based on the memoir “Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol” from 2018. Oscar winner Danny Boyle will serve as director and executive producer, and the cast includes stars Toby Wallace (The Society), Anson Boon (1917), Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes), Dylan Llewellyn (Derry Girls), Emma Appleton (The Witcher), and Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones). Newcomers Jacob Slater, Fabien Frankel and Sydney Chandler are also joining the production, with Chandler currently filming Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling.
Seventeen year old Partridge made his big break in Netflix original film Enola Holmes, starring alongside Millie Bobby Brown. He’s set to play Sid Vicious, bassist and vocalist for the English punk band. Production is slated to begin on March 7.
