With a new surge of COVID hitting the LA area, many of the shows currently in production have had to halt operations and go on hiatus. With an ICU capacity of 0%, an extended stay-at-home order through Jan. 16th, and a regional recording of 10,000 COVID-related deaths, the LA County Department of Public Health is imploring LA based shows to stop production and go on hiatus. The studios going on hiatus include NBCU Studios, CBS Studios, Universal TV, and Warner Bros. TV. Many are pushing back for a week slated to get started Jan 4th through Jan. 11th.
