Netflix announced that the third season of ‘Cobra Kai’ is dropping a week earlier than planned on the streamer. The new date is Jan. 1st, that is when all the episodes for the season will drop. On Jan. 2nd ‘The Netflix Afterparty’ will drop with the cast of the show discussing the latest season. This show is a spinoff of ‘The Karate Kid’ movie franchise featuring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. Now Daniel and Johnny are working together to save the dojo from a strict and authoritarian sensei.
Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are writing and executive producing. The executive producers of the show include Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleeb Pinkett. “Cobra Kai” also stars Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, and Peyton List. The popularity of the show has already guaranteed itself to get a fourth season.
