‘Doc McStuffins’ On Disney Jr. Is Teaching Kids Healthy Habits

Doc McStuffins has created a TV special for Disney Jr. to help teach kids healthy habits. The episode is more important than ever, now that we are in a global pandemic. Along with the song about washing hands, ‘Doc McStuffins’ is creating a toy that sings the song. This way, kids learn to wash their hands for 20 seconds. Disney and Disney Jr. have teamed up with Feeding America to donate proceeds from the toy to the nonprofit to get two million meals to kids in need.

The senior vp of original programming and general manager at Disney Junior, Joe D’Ambrosia, said that ‘Doc McStuffins’ is a “role model for taking good care of oneself and others”. He went on to say, “With this new special, we hope to empower our young viewers by highlighting simple actions they can take in order to stay safe and healthy, and also provide a resource for parents and caregivers to talk to their kids about healthy habits, which has become especially relevant during these challenging times.” To watch the video and song from ‘Doc McStuffins’ click here.
