ABC is working on a new rom-com titled ‘Borderline’. The story will focus on a newly formed couple. When one of them is suddenly notified that they are being deported, the couple has to decide between saying goodbye to potential soulmates or rush into a marriage.

The rom-com is being written by Chris Encell, who has also written for ‘The Good Place’, ‘On My Block’, and an upcoming animated series from Fox titled ‘Housebroken’. Encell is also executive producing alongside Danny Chun. Chun is known for his work on ‘The Office’ and ‘Speechless’.
