In an interview on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ Ewan McGregor revealed that ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ would start filming in March 2021. This news comes after multiple setbacks and complications with the project. The movie was first announced in 2019, with production set to start in early 2020. But in January of 2020, the movie’s main writer, Hossein Amini left the project. He was eventually replaced in April of 2020 by Joby Harold. In the midst of rewrites, the COVID-19 pandemic started to set in. Leaving production being delayed to 2021. Fortunately for Disney+ ‘The Mandelorian’ was there to keep fans entertained while waiting for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’.
