The drive-in featured video appearances from Kenan Thompson and Heidi Gardner.
‘Saturday Night Live’ returned for its 46th season this weekend. To celebrate, NBC held its first-ever drive-in premiere on Los Angeles’ Universal Studios backlot. The event featured a faux red carpet, Chris Rock as host, and Megan Thee Stallion as musical guest. The event was closed to the public and the amount of cars allowed was limited.
Prior to the show going live, the drive-in showed classic skits such as “Mom Jeans,” “Two Wild and Crazy Guys,” “More Cowbell,” and “Target Lady.” Some of the most notable moments of the performance were Rock’s monologue, Megan Thee Stallion’s performance, and Kate McKinnon’s Ruth Bader Ginsburg tribute.
