Apple’s animated ‘Central Park’ has casted Emmy Raver-Lampman from ‘The Umbrella Academy’ after Kristen Bell left in favor of appropriately giving the role to a biracial actress that represents the character.
Raver-Lampman will be playing Molly Tillerman after the showrunners made a decision to look for Black or biracial actresses to play the character, who is biracial herself.
The creative team of ’Central Park’ says that they are “thrilled, honored, and certain that [they] have found the perfect […] voice in the amazing Emmy Raver-Lampson.”
