Sony Pictures TV has purchased the British production company, Eleven and its most famous series, ‘Sex Education’.
The American company beat out several other suitors. President of international production at Sony Pictures TV says that the company’s “ability to spot and develop new writing and acting talent” as well as “their eye for a unique and compelling idea make[s Banner] irresistible.”
This agreement ends Channel 4 Indie Growth Fund’s partnership with Eleven. Channel 4 CEO Alex Mahon says that she only wants “every success for the future as they embark on the next stage of their journey.”
