The comedies ‘Sunnyside’ and ‘Indebted’, and the drama ‘Bluff City Law’, will not be returning.
On Monday night, the streamer handed out a third season to the sophomore plane crash drama ‘Manifest’, while also cancelling three rookie series. All three shows suffered from low ratings and scant same-day viewing figures. Out of all of NBC’s scripted series launched for the 2019-2020 season, only one series (‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’) will be returning for another season.
