In order to respect the protests for the Black Lives Matter movement, ‘Live PD’ and ‘Cops’ have been pulled from the TV for the time being.
A&E has decided to premiere ‘Live Rescue’ in the place of ‘Live PD’, whereas Paramount Network is premiering ‘Ghostbusters’ in place of ‘Cops’.
Although Paramount Network has yet to make a statement, A&E announced, “Out of respect for the families of George Floyd and others who have lost their lives, in consultation with the departments we follow, and in consideration for the safety of all involved, we have made the decision not to broadcast ‘Live PD’ this weekend.”
