Last Tuesday, the BBC revealed that they would be hosting their 2022 showcase virtually due to uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The three-day extravaganza will run from February 28th to March 2nd, rather than be hosted in person.

“We’re proud that BBC Studios Showcase has made the U.K a key destination for the world’s content buyers,” said Paul Dempsey, president of global distribution for BBC Studios. “But the pandemic has accelerated changes in the way we can help them discover our shows.”

This year’s event will be exclusive— hosting the BBC’s top creators and featuring small industry panels.
