The Universal Television produced musical series ‘Girls5Eva’ has been renewed for a season two at Peacock TV. With its initial season one release on May 6, ‘Girls5Eva’ has captivated the hearts of many, leading its renewal to be no surprise among its strong fanbase. Starring Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, and Busy Phillips, the series follows a 90’s girl group’s second chance at fame after their work is sampled by a young rapper.
Although Peacock does not release any information regarding the viewing trends of their shows, it is known that ‘Girls5Eva’ was a major success, according to its 97% approval rate on Rotten Tomatoes.
