After his run on the extremely popular ‘Shameless’ as character  Lip Gallagher, Jeremy Allen White is working on his next series with a lead role. The new FX comedy ‘The Bear’ is currently casting and filming its pilot. The series will follow a young chef, originally from Chicago, who decides to move back to help out with the family restaurant.

The series pilot which was originally ordered in March also boasts other known cast members including: Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson. White is also known for his work on Amazon’s ‘Homecoming’ and in features such as ‘The Rental’, ‘Afterschool’, ‘The Time Being’, and ‘Viena and the Fantomes’.
