The wireless provider is shutting down its pay-TV services and replacing it with YouTube TV and Philo.
Shortly after T-Mobile launched the TVision services, several programmers objected to the violation of their distribution contracts. On Monday, T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert wrote in a blog post, “we’ve learned a lot about the TV industry, about streaming products, and of course, about TV customers.” Now, T-Mobile customers can subscribe to YouTube TV for $54.99 per month, and TVision Vibe customers can now get one free month of Philo (which will then be $10 per month afterward.)
