Netflix’s “See What’s Next Korea” event is a time for Korean entertainment executives to collaborate with Netflix and announce/promote new Korean-based content. During this year’s See What’s Next Korea event, the streaming service announced it would be spending $500 million dollars on Korean-based content.
Minyoung Kim, Netflix’s VP content for Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, stated that “Audiences around the world are falling in love with Korean stories, artists and culture.”
