That’s right, people. In the wake of a global pandemic, the CW is about to renew a dozen shows for the 2020-2021 season.
Old hands of the program will be stoked to see some fan-favorites on the list— such as The Flash, Dynasty, Batwoman, Roswell, and of course, Riverdale. Novices Walker and Superman and Louis have also made the cut.
Long-beloved DC adventures Black Lightning and Supergirl, both wrapping up their final seasons, will not be renewed.
“As The CW’s 2020-2021 season kicks into high gear, we are thrilled creatively with the direction of our first new shows out of the gate,” Mark Pedowitz, the network’s leader, remarks. “We are particularly pleased with the huge success of the launch of Walker, which debuted as our most watched series premiere in five years.”
