Star of the show Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed that COVID-19 will be apart of the plotline in the ‘Sex In The City’ revival. Otherwise, plotline specifics are not yet known. The limited series revival will have a duration of 10 episodes, a half-hour each. The reboot will follow the lives of Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) as they navigate through life in their 50s.
Parker who plays the iconic Carrie Bradshaw had this to say about the return of the show and her thoughts of the time passed since, “I think that Cynthia, Kristin, and I are all excited about the time that has passed,” she said. Parker continued by saying, “You know, who are they in this world now? Have they adapted? What part have they played? Where have they fallen short as women, as friends, and how are they finding their way? Did they move with momentum? Are they like some people who are confused, threatened, nervous [by what’s happening in the world]? I’m so curious and excited to see how the writers imagine these women today.”
