Comedies and dramas picked up around this time a year ago remain in contention.

Right now, the biggest question for ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and The CW are whether or not their picked up comedies and dramas will actually air. Some could wind up airing during the current 2020-21 season, and many could be pushed to the 2021-22 season. Networks are also having to contend with the realities of production, such as the question of whether or not dystopian plotlines will still be accepted with audiences.
