The network has ordered six additional episodes of the David E. Kelley series.

ABC has extended the first season of ‘Big Sky’, bringing the total episode count to 16. The show has been facing criticism from Indigenous groups due to a lack of Native American and Indigenous characters onscreen. In response to this, Kelley and his fellow executive producers commented last week that “our eyes have been opened to the outsized number of Native American and Indigenous women who go missing and are murdered each year, a sad and shocking fact,” and that they would be working to “bring attention” to the issue.
