HBO Max and producer John Wells have teamed up to work on another two projects for the streaming service. Well’s first project is a Hawaiian-set drama called ‘Ke Nui Road’. The drama will follow a group of teens living on the North Shore of Oahu navigating a lifeguarding program.
The second project Wells and HBO Max are collaborating on is ‘Things That Make White People Uncomfortable’. The first season of this project will focus on how white tolerant ideas have affected society. It will also examine race relations in America. The project is based off the book ‘Things That Make White People Uncomfortable’ by Michael Bennet who will also be an executive producer on the project.
