‘All American’ on the CW has had to halt all filming after a member on the show tested positive for COVID-19. The show did not release who tested positive and It is unclear whether the person was a cast or crew member. The person is currently quarantining and as a precaution the show has decided to pause filming.
The person who tested positive was reportedly asymptomatic and was discovered as positive due to mandatory testing protocols from Warner Bros. TV. This isn’t the first CW show to halt or postpone filming. ‘Riverdale’, ‘Supergirl’, ‘Charmed’, ‘Nancy Drew’, and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ have all been affected by COVID-19. None of these CW shows will air at their original fall start date, most will air in early 2021.
