A&E New Special ‘Voices Magnified: Policing In America’ Focuses On Police Brutality

A&E is airing a special focusing on raising the voices and stories of victims of police brutality and activists. The series will be narrated by Laurence Fishburne. The special will go in depth with mourning families, community leaders, and police. This show follows A&E’s cancellation of ‘Live PD’ earlier this year.

The hour-long special with air on August 30th will also take a look into policing specifically in Los Angeles. The President of A&E, Rob Sharenow, had this to say about the special, “We are proud to launch the Voices Magnified campaign to elevate the stories of those pursuing solutions to critical issues of our time”.
