Morgan Cooper’s viral YouTube trailer sparked an upcoming, dramatic reimagining of the NBC comedy, ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.’

Since the four-minute vide clip was posted in March 2019, the upcoming series has been in the works. Will Smith and Morgan Cooper are teaming up to adapt the series, with Cooper (creator and director of the trailer) acting as co-writer and director. Currently, the series is being shipped off to potential streamers. Peacock, Netflix, and HBO Max are included in the list of streamers bidding on the series.
