NBCUniversal’s Peacock has given the go-ahead to a series based off Will Forte’s classic ‘Saturday Night Live’ character and the accompanying 2010 film.

Forte will write and executive produce the series, Jorma Taccone will direct, and John Solomon will co-write. This upcoming show will join the collection of comedies at Peacock, including ‘A.P. Bio’, ‘Girls5Eva’, ‘Hitmen’, ‘Intelligence’, ‘Rutherford Falls’, and sequels to ‘Punky Brewster’ and Saved by the Bell’.
