Netflix is expanding its list of documentaries by adding in two films about the deaf community. The two documentaries are titled, ‘Deaf U’ and ‘Audible’.
‘Deaf U’ is about several deaf students at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. and their stories about college life together. It will premiere on October 9th with 8 episodes being around 20 minutes each.
‘Audible’ is about Amaree McKenstry-Hall and his senior year at Maryland School for the Deaf as he struggles with the realities of having to face the hearing world. It is 36 minutes long, and it is unknown as to when it will be premiering.
