This autumn, ‘Saturday Night Live’ could change from being produced in cast members’ homes to production in New York.
NBC and Lorne Michaels are working to bring the show back to NBC’s Manhattan Studios for the 46th season. SNL has a tendency to thrive best in the months leading up to a presidential election, so it is reasonable that the show’s producers are trying to steer the show back into familiar territory. Plans for the coming season won’t likely be revealed to audiences until the end of the summer.
