The untitled crime-drama series is set to be based off of Batman’s hometown, Gotham City.

HBO Max has plans for the series to be “set in the world [Matt] Reeves is creating for ‘The Batman’ feature film and will build upon the motion picture’s examination of the anatomy of corruption in Gotham City.”
