Although the entirety of ‘South Park’ is now available on HBO Max, five episodes from the show will not be available due to falsified depictions of the Prophet Muhammad.

“Super Best Friends”, “Cartoon Wars” parts one and two, “200”, and “201” were all pulled due to the offensive caricature of the religious figure.

Doug Herzog, the former Comedy Central head, stated that the company removed it from the network in an effort to protect “everyone who works here. That was the decision we needed to make.” In contrast, the co-creator of the series, Trey Parker, stated that he was upset by the censorship.
