‘Global Goal: United for Our Future’, which will be airing on several different networks, will feature performances from Chloe x Halle, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Usher, and more.
Dwayne Johnson will be hosting the concert special organized by Global Citizen and the European Commission. Its goal is to emphasize and bring awareness to the disproportionate effect of COVID-19 on marginalized communities. The concert will follow panels and discussion boards, and feature an array of different singers and performers.
It will be airing on Saturday, June 27th. Streamers include NBC, MTV, Twitter, YouTube, Apple, Brut, Roku, Insight TV, TIDAL, Twitch, and Yahoo, not to mention several other international streamers as well.
Johnson commented, “I’m proud to join Global Citizen and the European Commission to host the ‘Global Goal: Unite for Our Future’ concert. The event aims to lift up the global community that is tackling equitable access to healthcare and other enormous injustices facing our world. This critical moment in history requires all of us — so let’s join together to chart a better future, for everyone.”
