HBO has decided to keep the skateboarding comedy on the air with its second season. The news was announced shortly thereafter its season one finale premiered.
Based off of the 2018 indie film by Crystal Moselle, ‘Skate Kitchen’, ‘Betty’ is about several women trying to find their way in the male dominated world of skateboarding.
Amy Gravitt, executive VP of HBO Programming, says that she is excited “to watch where” the “Bettys go next.”
