The popular anthology drama has been renewed for yet another season by USA.
“‘The Sinner’ has struck a chord with audiences with its signature ‘whydunit’ style,” said Chris McCumber, the president of USA Network and Syfy. “In season four, we’re excited to dig even deeper into the psyche of Bill Pullman’s beloved Detective Ambrose character, while introducing our audience to a compelling, completely new mystery.”
USA, a NBCUniversal-owned cable network, has recently cancelled several scripted shows, including ‘Dare Me’, ‘Treadstone’, and ‘The Purge’. Many cable networks have been doing this as well in their attempt to move away from scripted series and into unscripted offerings. Two of the latest unscripted series added by USA include ‘Instant Family’ and ‘The Rev’.
