“The Fifty Shades of Grey alum [Dakota Johnson] is set to star in — and executive produce — Rodeo Queens, a comedy in development at Amazon Studios.”
After winning the bit for the package, the company Platform One Media will be working closely with Amazon Studios to produce the TV Series. Cristy Hall is creator of the series and will be co-producer alongside Dakota Johnson and a handful of others.
“The comedy is described as a comedy that follows an ensemble of Rodeo Queen hopefuls as they compete for the coveted crown.[…]This is Johnson’s second TV series regular role. She previously starred alongside Nat Faxon in Fox’s short-lived comedy series Ben and Kate.“
