Showrunner of Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ Peter Morgan has confirmed its final season will be its last, with Imelda Staunton to take over as Queen Elizabeth.
Five-time winner of the Olivier award, Imelda Staunton, has expressed excitement for her upcoming role on the show. She admits to watching the show “from the very start.”
As for the final season, Morgan initially planned for six seasons to be aired on Netflix, but he believes that the fifth season of the show will be “the perfect time and place to stop.”
