Chance the Rapper has just been announced as the new host of the hidden camera reality TV show ‘Punk’d’.

After getting his feet wet as a television host last year on ‘Rhythm + Flow’, this pop culture icon has decided to jump in as host of this early 2000’s prank program revival. Hollywood celebrities are going to be the target of both the host and the hidden cameras on what Chance describes as “one of MTV’s most iconic franchises”.

STXtelevision and MTV Studios, with Jason Goldberg as executive producer, will be reviving ‘Punk’d’. With a little help from augmented reality, the team of producers as well as its host are ready to create bolder and better pranks than ever before.

‘Punk’d’ will begin streaming on the short form video platform Quibi on April 6.
