HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ is set to premiere its new series, called ‘House of the Dragon,’ which takes place before the original.

HBO President of Programming Casey Bloys said “my guess is sometime in 2022” when asked when the series will premiere. The show is still in the process of pre production, meaning they have yet to finish writing the script.

“For me right now, I think getting ‘House of the Dragon’ on the air will be the number one priority… we are all focusing on ‘House of Dragon…’ said Casey Bloys. At least fans can be assured that this prequel will be worked hard on and definitely something to look forward to.
