Awkwafina’s show on Comedy Central, titled ‘Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens’ is coming out on January 22, but has been renewed for its second season.

“We are in awe of Awkwafina’s creative genius on every level and we could not be more excited to embark on a season two with the entire Lin family in Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens,” stated Comedy Central co-heads of originals Sarah Babineau and Jonas Larsen.

The show is inspired by Awkwafina’s real life experiences growing up in Queens, New York. The actress plays Nora Lin as she navigates young adulthood in the city.
