Mary Laws’s anthology series about fantastical creatures entitled ‘Monsterland’ will be starring Kaitlyn Dever and Jonathan Tucker. 

Based off of Nathan Ballingrud’s collection of short stories, ‘Monsterland’ plans to follow man’s brinkmanship on being monsters as these characters hope to change their lives in desperate matters. 

Dever of ‘Booksmart’ will portray a 19-year-old mother named Toni who has a job as a waitress whilst also juggling taking care of her troubled daughter. Her life begins to change once she meets Alex (played by Tucker of ‘Charlie’s Angels’), who is almost too threatening to be in her presence. Toni begins to reconsider everything in spite of Alex’s unfamiliarity.
