Production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but shooting will begin next week.

The reunion was announced in late February 2020, several weeks before the start of the pandemic. Now, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry will all be reuniting to film the special beginning the week of April 5th. It will be filmed on Stage 24, the original soundstage for ‘Friends’ located in the Warner Brothers Studio.
