HBO Max is picking up multiple Comedy Central originals including ‘Chappelle’s Show’, ‘Nathan For You’, and more. This expansion is due to a broadening relationship between ViacomCBS and HBO Max. Other Comedy Central originals like ‘Inside Amy Schumer’, ‘Key & Peele’, and ‘Reno 911’ will all be available on HBO Max Nov. 1st.

The deal between ViacomCBS and HBO Max is non-exclusive. Therefore, ViacomCBS is not exclusively selling the Comedy Central titles to just HBO Max. This is a strategic move by ViacomCBS to expose titles, like the ones from Comedy Central, to a larger audience before making those titles exclusive on just their strategy.
