Although many production crews are struggling to find creativity during this pandemic, BBC’s new show titled ‘Staged’ hopes to bring inspiration to all in this time of confusion. Starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, the show’s goal is to bring comedy to all.

The series will be six episodes long, with each one being 15 minutes. It will revolve around a British acting theatre group who are forced to cancel their West End production. With only video conferences to lead them, it shows their persistence to keep doing rehearsals.

Director of BBC Content, Charlotte Moore says that the “mischievous idea” allows for “moments of humor and light relief” that is much needed during the pandemic.
