Fans of ‘Star Trek’ will be encountering their former beloved characters in CBS All Access’s newest series. The show has been titled, ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’.
Starring Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock, ’Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ will have the trio exploring the galaxy – just a decade before Captain Kirk entered the U.S.S. Enterprise.
When the trio first appeared on ‘Star Trek: Discovery’, “fans fell in love with” the actors’ “portrayals of these iconic characters” as told by the executive vice president and head of programming at CBS All Access, Julie McNamara.
‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ is the newest series to join the saga on CBS All Access; the other shows include ‘Star Trek: Discovery’, ‘Star Trek: Picard’, ‘Star Trek: Short Treks’, and ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’.
