Stars such as Leslie Odom Jr., George Clooney, and Allison Janey supported essential workers and entertainment crew members during the Motion Picture Television Fund’s livestreamed fundraiser.
Michael Douglas spoke out to essential workers, saying that he sends them his “love and contribution”. He followed through with more words of support and that they will “get through this”.
Taye Diggs also appeared, encouraging crew members for their “unnoticed work” due to their efforts “to show up and do what they can be of service”.
