The newest HBO Max animated show that is not-so-kid-friendly has recently casted comedic actors Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogan to serve in their leading roles. The show is titled, ’Santa Inc.’.
‘Santa Inc.’ is about the highest-ranking elf at the North Pole named Candy Smalls (Silverman). After Santa Claus’s (Rogen) successor is poached by Amazon on the day before Christmas, Candy decides to try and become the first female Santa Claus.
HBO Max’s executive VP of original comedy and animation, Suzanna Makkos, remarks that she knew the project was “perfect” after she saw that it focused on adding a “feminist agenda and some R-rated comedy” to “a beloved holiday tradition”.
